iOS and Android app development.

We build iOS and Android apps, delivered with their back end and store release.

Mobile app development is the design, build and store release of apps that run on iOS and Android devices and are installed from the App Store and Google Play.

01 / Definition

What is mobile app development?

At Meybrain Technologies we deliver the app together with everything behind it: the server APIs, an admin panel and the store release process. Our own product, BeinStory, is live on the web, iOS and Android.

Not every business needs an app. If people visit you once a month, a phone-friendly website usually does the job. An app earns its place when you need device capabilities such as notifications, the camera, location or offline use, or when users interact with you often. We make that call with you in the first conversation.

02 / Audience

Who it is for.

  • Businesses putting ordering, booking or loyalty in their customers' pockets.
  • Companies moving field-team forms, photos and signatures off paper.
  • Start-ups whose product is mobile-first.
  • Brands with an ageing app that struggles with each operating-system update.
  • Organisations adding a mobile app to an existing web system.

03 / Deliverables

What we deliver.

  • UX and interface design that respects iOS and Android conventions.
  • App code and test builds you can install on your own phone during development.
  • The server APIs and database the app relies on.
  • A web admin panel for content, users and notifications.
  • Push notifications, in-app analytics and crash reporting.
  • Third-party services where needed: payments, maps, sign-in.
  • Store preparation: screenshots, listing copy, privacy disclosures and review submission.
  • Technical documentation and a post-launch update plan.

04 / Process

How the project runs.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Users, core tasks and whether an app or mobile web is the right answer.

  2. 02

    Flows and prototype

Key screens tested as a clickable prototype.

  3. 03

    Design

The interface reviewed separately for each platform.

  4. 04

    Build

Short cycles, with a new test build sent to your phone at the end of each.

  5. 05

    Testing

Screen sizes, OS versions and poor connections.

  6. 06

    Store release

App Store and Google Play review handled, with fixes if needed.

  7. 07

    Updates

A maintenance plan for yearly OS releases and new features.

05 / Technology

Technology choices: native or cross-platform?

  • 01

Cross-platform (React Native, Flutter and similar)

One codebase ships to both platforms. For most business apps this lowers build and maintenance cost and keeps both versions in step.

  • 02

Native (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android)

The better fit for heavy graphics, advanced camera or sensor work and platform-specific features. Two codebases mean higher upkeep.

We choose based on the device capabilities you need, whether your team will take the code over later, and your budget. On the server side we can use the same TypeScript service structure as our web applications, so mobile and web share one set of data and rules.

06 / Example

Examples from our work.

BeinStory is our literature platform where readers talk with book characters and authors through AI. We own the content model, the AI layer, the interface, the store releases and day-to-day operation. It is live on the web, iOS and Android, in Turkish and English.

Kentsel Dönüşüm AI, our assistant for property owners going through urban renewal, is live on the web and the App Store. Both are in our portfolio.

07 / Pricing

What drives the cost.

  • Platforms: iOS, Android, both, or both plus a web version.
  • The number of screens, flows and user roles.
  • Offline use and real-time features.
  • Device capabilities: camera, location, Bluetooth, biometrics.
  • The scope of the back end and admin panel.
  • Third-party services such as payments, maps or messaging.
  • Post-launch maintenance.

Each app is priced on its scope, with a written, itemised quote after a short call. Store costs such as Apple's annual developer membership and Google Play's one-off registration fee are yours and listed separately.

08 / Questions

Frequently asked questions.

  1. 01

How much does it cost to build an app?

It depends on scope. The number of platforms, back-end complexity and third-party services move the price most. Once the scope is clear, you receive a written, itemised quote.

  2. 02

Do we need separate apps for iOS and Android?

Usually not. A cross-platform approach ships both from one codebase. For apps that lean heavily on device features, we recommend native development.

  3. 03

Whose account is the app published under?

We recommend your own developer accounts, so the app, its users and its reviews always stay under your control. We guide you through opening them.

  4. 04

What if the app is rejected in review?

We design with Apple's and Google's guidelines in mind from the start. If a rejection comes, we read the reason, fix the issue and resubmit.

  5. 05

Will the app need updates after launch?

Yes. iOS and Android release new versions every year, and the app needs regular maintenance to keep working smoothly. Maintenance is offered as an option in the contract.

  6. 06

We already have a website. Do we really need an app?

If users come back often, or you need notifications, the camera or location, an app makes sense. Otherwise a mobile-friendly web application can do the same job for less, and we will say so.
