Software and platforms
E-commerce website development.
We set up your own online store, with payment, shipping, invoicing and marketplace links.
An e-commerce website is an online store on your own domain where you list products and manage orders, payments and delivery.
01 / Definition
What is an e-commerce website?
At Meybrain Technologies we design the store and build its payment, shipping, stock and order flows around how your business actually runs. We also help you decide whether a hosted platform is enough or a custom build is justified.
Marketplaces are a strong sales channel, but the customer relationship and the rules stay with the marketplace. Your own store gives you a channel where you control pricing, promotions and customer data. For most brands the answer is to run both from the same stock.
02 / Audience
Who it is for.
- Brands selling on marketplaces that want their own direct channel.
- Manufacturers moving into direct-to-consumer sales.
- Wholesalers and distributors that need a dealer portal with their own price lists.
- Exporters that need several languages and currencies.
- International brands entering the Turkish market that need local payment and invoicing in place.
03 / Platform
Hosted platform or custom build?
| Option | When it fits | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Hosted (SaaS) platform | Standard catalogue and checkout, quick start | Monthly and transaction fees; limits on customisation |
| Open source (e.g. WooCommerce) | Teams that want flexibility and can own upkeep | Plugin and security updates need steady attention |
| Custom build | Dealer pricing, complex promotions, unusual integrations | Higher first investment, full control in return |
We make this call honestly. If a hosted platform covers your needs, we will not sell you a custom build.

Launch

06 / Before launch
Selling in Türkiye: what must be ready.
If you sell to Turkish consumers, some obligations sit with you. Under Law No. 6563, e-commerce businesses must register with the Ministry of Trade's E-commerce Information System (ETBİS). Distance sales require pre-contract information and a notice of the right of withdrawal. You sign the payment and carrier agreements yourself. We recommend your lawyer prepares the legal texts; we place them correctly in the store and the checkout.
07 / Technology
Technology choices.
On a hosted platform we configure the theme, apps and integrations. For a custom build we keep the storefront (for example Next.js) and the back end (for example NestJS with PostgreSQL) as separate layers, so web, mobile and marketplace channels can share the same data. Card data never passes through your servers; payment is completed on the provider's secure page or component.
08 / Example
An example from our work.
Kolay Sevkiyat is our own product for marketplace sellers, which we build and operate. It brings orders into one panel, checks shipment details before they reach the carrier and prints the official shipping label one by one or in bulk. Running it shows us where errors creep in between an order and its parcel.
Not every business needs a full store on day one. On the brand site we built for Adranos Bahçe, a blueberry farm, orders come in over WhatsApp. We help you choose the step that fits. See both in our portfolio.

09 / Pricing
What drives the cost.
- The platform route: hosted subscription, open source or custom.
- Catalogue size, variant structure and how clean the product data is.
- The number of payment, shipping, invoicing, marketplace and ERP integrations.
- B2B rules such as dealer pricing or tiered discounts.
- Languages and currencies.
- How bespoke the design is.
Each store is priced on its scope, with a written, itemised quote after a short call. Recurring costs such as subscriptions, payment fees and hosting are listed separately.
10 / Questions
Frequently asked questions.
- 01
What do we need before we can sell online in Türkiye?
A registered business, ETBİS registration, a virtual POS or payment-provider agreement, a carrier agreement, a domain, product data and legal texts. We handle the technical build and check the rest of the list with you at the start.
- 02
How much does an e-commerce website cost?
It depends on the platform and the scope. Integrations and B2B rules change the price most. We settle the scope on a short call and send a written, itemised quote.
- 03
Can the store share stock with our marketplace listings?
Yes, where the marketplace offers seller API access. We build a two-way sync for stock, prices and orders, so one item is not sold twice across channels.
- 04
Do you provide the payment gateway?
No. The agreement is between you and the bank or payment provider, and funds go straight to you. We connect your chosen provider and test the payment flow.
- 05
How long until the store is live?
It depends on the platform, how ready your product data is and the number of integrations. We confirm it in writing with the scope.
- 06
Do you also run advertising for the store?
No. We focus on the store's software and operations. If an agency runs your ads and social media, we coordinate with them.
